The Lincolnshire Wolds Countryside Service, based at the Navigation Warehouse, Riverhead Road, manages the Wolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A wealth of information about the environment to the west of Louth is available from this website.
Living in the Lincolnshire Wolds
The Ludford Village website at www.ludford.org.uk is a community website for an important Wolds village. High up in the Wolds, yet with good access, Ludford is a busy place. It has two excellent award-winning pubs and is popular with walkers as it is on the Viking
Way. It was also home to the RAF 101 Squadron during WWII.
