Meet our Police Neighbourhood Policing Team

The Neighbourhood Policing Team consists of a Police Officer (Community Beat Manager) and a team of PCSO’s. We have 2 at Louth, one for the town and one for the rural area, which is based at Holton le Clay. Team details can be found on our own force website but consist as follows:

The teams deal with issues raised by the community through regular meetings with neighbourhood panels. The panels consist of key people in the communities they serve although anyone can contribute to these meetings. We draw on the services of key partner agencies such as ELDC, Fire and Rescue, Social Housing landlords etc to work together to resolve local issues. The teams visit a range of key individuals on a regular basis including local councillors and schools and provide a high profile reassurance and presence within the community.

Examples of work we have done recently include working with the local authority and New Linx Housing Trust to resolve issues of noise and damage in a newly built play park and working to enforce parking regulations in Louth town centre. We work closely with anti-social behaviour officers from the Police and ELDC to deal with anti-social behaviour and take action against persistent offenders.
