What's on for older people in the villages around Louth.

Louth and District Seniors’ Forum started this site to provide some information about what’s on in the areas around Louth for people over 50 to enjoy, learn or take part in.

The snow earlier in the month meant that the Louth and District Seniors’ Forum had to cancel their AGM and this has now been rescheduled for Friday morning, 17th December at 10 am in the Conoco Room. They hope that many people will be able to attend.
In excess of 420 older people have joined the forum since it was started in 2004 and the committee are asking for people to join them on the committee, in particular they are looking for a secretary.
Tea and coffee will be served from 9.45 am and also after the business of the AGM with mince pies and biscuits. After the break there will be an open forum with opportunity for anyone to give out relevant information or raise matters they are interested in or have concerns about.
Last month the Seniors’ Forum sent out to all its members a 68 page Directory of Useful Information for older people. Any local older person can request a copy (which is free) by contacting the Forum with their name and address.
